The Opportunity:
JNTC Careers is seeking a highly experienced and seasoned Systems Design Engineer of Medical Devices, with passion, being analytical with architectural design, development, testing, and maintenance of Radiology Monitors and related hardware. Our client is focused exclusively on highest quality, most reliable medical devices products for medical industry and environments.

Descriptive Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for the development, design, test and maintenance of Radiology Monitors, a digital flat panel displays to be used for medical purposes. As a member of a team or being independent, must demonstrate skills and competencies of determining failures, performance levels, vendor’s capabilities to support product development and improvements.

Technical Requirements:
  1. Proficient in Orcad schematic capture
  2. Experienced in analog design, power supplies Spice simulation
  3. Experienced in the design of FPGA, CPLD and digital simulation
  4. Strong understanding of PCB layout process
  5. Experienced in design of board production, fabrication and assembly
  6. Expertise in the analysis of equipment failures, conduct tests to identify point of failure and conduct root cause analysis 
  7. Experienced in reviewing vendor capability in support of product development and improvement
  8. Ability of selecting and evaluating electronic parts, components
  9. Experienced in integrated circuitry for high performance medical displays, and other related hardware items used in these applications
  10. Demonstrated familiarity with board and system design
  11. Demonstrated successful implementation of low EMI board layout and component designs
  12. Familiarity with Verilog or VHDL
  13. Demonstrated success using lab test equipment
  14. Experienced with medical design documentation requirements is a plus
 Candidate Qualifications & Competencies:
  • B.S.E.E. required, M.S.E.E preferred
  • 5 years experiences in hardware design
  • Strong interface ability with mechanical engineers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability of working independently and a team player
  • Capable to travel up to 10% of the time

JNTC Careers is seeking a highly experienced and seasoned Product Quality Engineer of Medical Devices, with passion, being analytical with architectural design, development, testing, and maintenance of Flat Panel Displays and related hardware. Our client is focused exclusively on highest quality, most reliable medical devices products for medical industry and environments.

Descriptive Responsibilities:
This position will play a key role in improving, creating and maintaining product quality and process improvement initiatives throughout the company. It is responsible in maintaining and deploying medical-imaging quality management system and production processes. These equipments provide best-in-class rendering of medical images for medical professional users in hospitals and clinics.
  1. Maintain medical imaging production processes and work instructions to support Production and Quality teams in building and testing products
  2. Provide support to Production and Quality teams in following approved production processes to meet company business goals, improve product First Pass Yield (FPY) and Customer Satisfaction 
  3. Perform in-process Quality Control Audit, product testing and FPY measurement
  4. Collect process and product quality data; apply statistical process control method to measure effectiveness of production process and quality management system 
  5. Conduct Internal, Supplier audits and identify areas that need improvement
  6. Collaborate with Engineering, Operations to facilitate new product introduction in Manufacturing
  7. Identify and implement Corrective and Preventive actions for continuous improvements
  8. Facilitate company Management Review, Preventive and Corrective Action, Customer Complaints, and Supplier Performance Reviews
  9. Facilitate Nonconforming material (NCR) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities
  10. Report significant issues identified during quality assurance activities. Reported issues should be associated with recommended corrective action or process improvement
  11. Qualify and implement alternative manufacturing materials, processes, tools to address quality and production efficiency concerns
  12. Work with customers, suppliers and management at all levels to address quality related concerns 
  13. Act as Technical Liaison between Engineering and Production teams to investigate and resolve production technical issues on the floor 
Technical Requirements:
  1. Experienced in Quality Assurance & Control of medical device (at PCBA and box build levels).
  2. Quality Control Audit, product testing and FPY measurement
  3. Strong familiarity of medical device regulations (FDA 21 CFR 11, 820), international regulations and standards, ISO 13485 required
  4. Experienced in assembly/test operations, supplier qualification, incoming and final inspection
  5. Strong communication and skills in presenting and interpret Quality System documents, Engineering drawings and work instructions
  6. Experienced in product quality data; apply statistical process control method to measure effectiveness of production process and quality management system
  7. Experienced in conducting audits internally, supplier audits for improvement
  8. Abilities to collaborate with Engineering, Operations to facilitate new product introduction in Manufacturing.
  9. Experienced to identify and implement Corrective and Preventive actions for continuous improvements.
  10. Experienced in Management Review, Preventive and Corrective Action, Customer Complaints, and Supplier Performance Reviews

 Candidate Qualifications & Competencies:
  • BSEE or BSCE 
  • 5+ years of experiences in Quality Assurance & Control of medical device
  • Supervisory experienced with multi-task ability
  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
  • Demonstrable computer proficiency with MS Office. Great Plains experienced desirable. 
  • Familiarity with non-compliance trending statistical analysis methodology and tools
  • Strong knowledge of defect/issue/complaint handling process and tools.

JNTC Careers is seeking a highly experienced and seasoned Software Engineer of Medical Devices, with passion, being analytical with architectural design, development, and maintenance of software tools and firmware for digital Flat Panel Displays. Our client is focused exclusively on highest quality, most reliable medical devices products for medical industry and environments.

Descriptive Responsibilities:
This position will work with other engineers on the development and maintenance of software tools and firmware for digital flat panel displays. These equipments provide best-in-class rendering of medical images for medical professional users in hospitals and clinics.
  • Design, develop and test modifications to software tools in support of Medical Display products
  • Design, develop and test the installation packages of the software tools applications
  • Design and implement firmware for micro controllers, interaction with FPGA designers
  • Support and maintain software/firmware for existing Medical Display products
  • Design, develop software tools for internal us
  • Ensure application of software development best practices and sharing such practices with other team members
 Technical Requirements:
  1. Experienced with firmware development for micro controllers
  2. Experienced with GCC tool chains
  3. Strong knowledge of digital electronics, experienced with schematics reading
  4. Experienced with Linux and Solaris
  5. Experienced in Unix and Windows debuggers
  6. Experienced with ANSII C, C++, C#, .Net, Visual Studio, SCM tools   
  7. Experienced with Mono, COM/ATL, NSIS, SQL, CrystalReports, Javascript, XML, HTML, and web-based design
  8. Experienced in programming within Microsoft environment specifically Windows 2000, XP and XP64
  9. Strong object-oriented analysis, design and programming skills 
  10. Familiarity with medical design documentation requirements

Candidate Qualifications & Competencies:
  • BSEE or BSCE 
  • 3-5 years of experiences in software development
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability of working independently and a team player
  • Capable to travel up to 5% domestically or internationally
  • May require some non-standard work hours to support business needs
