Position Title: Regional Vice President, Asia-Pacific 

Reports To: President, International Affiliate Division

Location: Asia-Pacific Region (base in Singapore or within the regional areas)

The Opportunity:

JNT Consulting is seeking an experienced professional, with entrepreneurial abilities, cross  culturally and regionally savvy with strategic competencies to operate in the Asia Pacific Region. Resident in the region is preferred.

Descriptive Responsibilities:

The position oversees and supports / improves ‘operations’ activities of countries in the region, in line with organization’s quality standards. Leads training, technical assistance and capacity building efforts of key country staff in the region. Supports, business/strategic planning and budgeting processes as well as oversees their effective execution in countries within region

Drives and/or supports effective fundraising efforts for countries in the region and for regional costs at the International Division. Develops and maintains effective relationships with key country staff, board members and sponsor representatives in the region. Travels strategically and makes productive visits that results in improved operations of countries in the region. Being well informed and involved, communicates and reports effectively on the state of country operations in the region

Technical Competencies:

• Extensive project management, leadership and presentation experience

• Passion for the organizational causes

• History of being entrepreneurial

• Results driven approach

• Strong communication skills - effectively communicating in writing, one-on-one, in groups, through presentations, at networking events, and by phone/email

Other Requirements:

• This position is based in Asia-Pacific and will require extensive travel throughout the region. 

•Additional travel periodically to the United States and other countries for training, seminars and key events/meetings is also required

• Languages – English fluency (fluency in other languages used within the region are pluses)

• Previous experience working in Asia-Pacific and a good understanding of the cultures/regional dynamics is strongly preferred

Descriptive Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for the front-end component specifications and help drive the overall systems requirements. Work with FPGA designers on overall system budget analysis, drive FPGA specifications, and systems budgets.  Provide solutions to issues that arise from non-linear systems. Responsibility covers RF Transceiver Integration, RF System Architecture, Verilog and FPGA development, ADS and Matlab simulations, RF Optimization and matching under VSWR, Testing of Wifi, WiMax and cellular systems.  Execute optimization to validate performance and other functions relative to this role.

Technical Requirements:

1. Solid understanding of RF PLL, LNA, PGA in Direct IQ and Small Signal Polar architectures, ADC  and DAC implementations and digital algorithms

2. Strong competencies in Verilog, FPGA development, ADS and MATLAB simulations

3. Solid knowledge and experience in S-parameters and component matching.

4. Must be experienced in matching under VSWR conditions

5. Hands-on experienced in WiFi, WiMax or Cellular systems

6. Experienced in RF Systems be able to generate front end system lineups

7. Experienced in Analog circuits in an RF Transceiver

8. Experienced in debugging and optimizing RF parameter such as EVM, ACLR, SNR and BER

9. Strong experience and understanding of integrating transmitter and receiver gain control tables, overall systems performance from an antennae to the baseband

• BSEE Degree + 12 years of experience or MSEE + 9 years of experience or PhD + 6 years of experience in all the areas identified above.
